Entitled room rate
Each pay level carries its own entitled base rate per night, GST exclusive, as promulgated by the Govt of India. Where a stay sits above that rate the difference is shown as a top-up before you pay.
Food charges
A daily food entitlement applies alongside the room rate and is GST inclusive. It covers breakfast and one major meal, and is invoiced as a separate line item so it can be claimed separately.
Occupancy
Pay levels 12 and above are entitled on single occupancy. At pay levels 9 to 11 a 5-star stay is entitled on double occupancy, while 4-star and 3-star stays are single occupancy.
GST and invoicing
The hotel GSTIN appears on the invoice, with room and food as separate line items and the GST rate and amount stated separately, which is what a reimbursement claim needs.

About staying in Gulmarg
Hotel choice in Gulmarg is shaped by its role as a high-altitude ski and meadow resort where gondola access, snow transport and seasonal road conditions shape every stay. A visitor planning cool-weather breaks, viewpoints and outdoor trips will not necessarily benefit from the same area as someone making a short transit or work stop.
Use Gulmarg Meadow for the main visitor zone, compare Gondola Base and Tangmarg for access and value, and look at Outer Circular Road when that part of the itinerary matters most. Khilanmarg Road and undefined broaden the search beyond the obvious centre.
Budget rooms, independent hotels and mid-range stays make up much of the choice, with premium inventory concentrated in selected pockets. Final prices and cancellation terms are dynamic and must be taken from the booking feed at search time.
