Entitled room rate
Each pay level carries its own entitled base rate per night, GST exclusive, as promulgated by the Govt of India. Where a stay sits above that rate the difference is shown as a top-up before you pay.
Food charges
A daily food entitlement applies alongside the room rate and is GST inclusive. It covers breakfast and one major meal, and is invoiced as a separate line item so it can be claimed separately.
Occupancy
Pay levels 12 and above are entitled on single occupancy. At pay levels 9 to 11 a 5-star stay is entitled on double occupancy, while 4-star and 3-star stays are single occupancy.
GST and invoicing
The hotel GSTIN appears on the invoice, with room and food as separate line items and the GST rate and amount stated separately, which is what a reimbursement claim needs.

About staying in Mangalore
Mangalore works best when the hotel is matched to the trip, not chosen only by the lowest rate. The destination is a coastal commercial and education hub with port activity, pilgrimage traffic and beaches on the city’s northern edge, bringing together beach breaks, local food and short leisure trips in different parts of the city or region.
For most first-time visits, Hampankatta, Balmatta and Kadri provide useful starting points. Kankanady suits plans focused on that corridor, while Bejai and Surathkal can reduce the journey to outer attractions or transport links.

Fauji rates are a defence discount applied on top of public inventory and are shown on the regular Mangalore hotel pages. An MoU stay is booked against your TD entitlement at a property tied up under the MoU, and carries the tied-up inclusions such as breakfast, a major meal and laundry.
