A stay in Munnar can serve very different purposes because it is a tea-growing highland region rather than one compact town, so drive times between estates, viewpoints and the centre matter. That makes locality more useful than a generic city-wide hotel ranking for travellers arriving for cool-weather breaks, viewpoints and outdoor trips.
Munnar Town and Chithirapuram put visitors close to established activity, while Pallivasal is another practical cluster to price-check. Search Devikulam, Anachal or Mattupetty Road when access to a particular road, attraction or quieter zone is the priority.
