A daily food entitlement applies alongside the room rate and is GST inclusive. It covers breakfast and one major meal, and is invoiced as a separate line item so it can be claimed separately.
Occupancy
Pay levels 12 and above are entitled on single occupancy. At pay levels 9 to 11 a 5-star stay is entitled on double occupancy, while 4-star and 3-star stays are single occupancy.
GST and invoicing
The hotel GSTIN appears on the invoice, with room and food as separate line items and the GST rate and amount stated separately, which is what a reimbursement claim needs.

About staying in Ooty
A stay in Ooty can serve very different purposes because it is the Nilgiris’ main hill station, with colonial gardens, the mountain railway and hotels spread across steep outer slopes. That makes locality more useful than a generic city-wide hotel ranking for travellers arriving for cool-weather breaks, viewpoints and outdoor trips.
Charing Cross and Botanical Gardens put visitors close to established activity, while Ooty Lake is another practical cluster to price-check. Search Coonoor Road, Fern Hill or Lovedale when access to a particular road, attraction or quieter zone is the priority.
Room supply spans basic accommodation, mid-range hotels and a limited premium tier. Availability changes daily, so the rendered page should calculate hotel totals, current prices, taxes and cancellation status directly from the live feed.
